Terms & Conditions

1. Who we are

The information above is provided under Article 7 of Italian Legislative Decree 70/2003 (electronic commerce) and Article 2250 of the Italian Civil Code.

2. Purpose and nature of the Site

The Site is purely informational and promotional: it presents the restaurant, its story, a selection of pizzas, social media content, the awards it has won, customer reviews and the details for getting in touch with the pizzeria. The Site does not allow online purchases, orders, payments or bookings; any contract with the Owner (table booking, dining in, takeaway) is concluded exclusively by phone or in person at the restaurant, under the ordinary rules that apply to restaurants and bars in Italy.

The Owner may change, suspend or discontinue the content and features of the Site, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice, with no liability towards users.

4. Bookings

4.1 Tables can be booked only by phone on the number shown on the Site, and a booking is confirmed only once the restaurant has accepted it. The Owner may decline or limit bookings depending on availability, private events or organisational needs.

4.2 Your table is held for a reasonable time after the agreed time; if you are more than 15 minutes late without letting us know, the Owner may give the table to other guests.

4.3 If you cannot keep a booking, please let us know as soon as possible, as requested on the Site, so that the restaurant can welcome other guests. For large groups or events, the Owner may agree specific conditions, which will be communicated at the time of booking.

4.4 The opening hours shown on the Site are for guidance only and may change during holidays, closures for annual leave or due to circumstances beyond our control.

5. Awards and accolades

The awards and accolades mentioned on the Site are reported in line with the official announcements of the organisers and the public sources available at the time of publication. The names of competitions and events belong to their respective owners and are mentioned for descriptive purposes only, without implying any sponsorship or affiliation.

6. Intellectual property

6.1 The Site and all its content (text, photographs, videos, illustrations, logos, trademarks, names, graphics, source code, structure and layout) belong to the Owner or its licensors and are protected by Italian Copyright Law 633/1941, Italian Legislative Decree 30/2005 (Industrial Property Code) and the applicable international conventions.

6.2 The name “L'Artigiano della Pizza”, the restaurant's logos and distinctive signs, and the names of the pizzas and their recipes as presented on the Site may not be used, reproduced or imitated without the Owner's written consent.

6.3 You may browse the Site and reproduce its content solely for personal, non-commercial use, provided you credit the source. Any other reproduction, distribution, communication to the public, modification or use, in whole or in part, is prohibited without written permission. The systematic extraction of content (scraping), including for the purpose of training automated systems, is prohibited under Article 70-ter of Law 633/1941, unless expressly authorised.

6.4 Photographs of the dishes and the restaurant may be taken by professional photographers, who retain their moral rights. Content embedded from Instagram remains the property of its authors and is subject to the platform's terms.

6.5 Any fonts, software and libraries used are subject to their respective licences.

7. Rules of use

You agree to use the Site lawfully and in accordance with these Terms. In particular, you must not:

The Owner reserves the right to take any technical and legal action against improper use, including reporting it to the relevant authorities.

8. Third-party content and links

8.1 The Site embeds third-party services (Google Maps, Instagram) and contains links to external websites (social media profiles, the Google Maps listing, 2wins.studio). These services and websites are run by independent parties over which the Owner has no control: the Owner is not responsible for their availability, content, terms of use or privacy policies. A link does not imply endorsement of the linked content.

8.2 The reviews shown in the “What people say” section are the opinions of their authors, reproduced from Google Maps as published, with no changes to their content. The Owner does not guarantee their accuracy and is not responsible for their content. The selection shows the most recent five-star reviews: for all reviews, please see the restaurant's Google listing, which you can reach from the Site.

9. Limitation of liability

9.1 The Owner makes every effort to keep the information published accurate and up to date, but does not guarantee that it is error-free, complete or current. The information is provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

9.2 The Owner is not liable for any direct or indirect damage arising from use of the Site, inability to access it, interruptions or malfunctions, viruses or other harmful elements, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence and without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.

9.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits the Owner's liability where the law does not allow it to be excluded or limited, nor does it affect the rights granted to consumers by Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code).

10. Personal data

The processing of users' personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, which form an integral part of these Terms.

11. Changes

The Owner may change these Terms at any time by publishing the updated version at this address with the new date. Changes take effect on publication; continuing to use the Site after publication means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

12.1 These Terms are governed by Italian law.

12.2 The Court of Lecce has exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute concerning the interpretation, performance or validity of these Terms. If you are a consumer within the meaning of Article 3 of the Italian Consumer Code, the court of your place of residence or domicile has jurisdiction, where this is in Italy, under Article 66-bis of the Consumer Code. Consumers resident in another EU country also keep the protections granted to them by the mandatory laws of their country and by Regulation (EU) 1215/2012.

12.3 As the Owner does not sell online, the obligation to provide a link to the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform does not apply. Consumers remain free to use the alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedures provided for in Part V, Title II-bis of the Italian Consumer Code.

13. Final provisions

If any clause of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining clauses remain valid. The Owner's failure to object to a breach of the Terms does not constitute a waiver of its rights. For any communication about these Terms, you can use the contact details in section 1.
