Cookie Policy
This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, which ones are used on www.lartigianodellapizza.com (the “Site”) and how you can manage them. It supplements the Privacy Policy, where you will find the controller's identity, your rights and all other information about how personal data is processed. This is a translation provided for convenience: in the event of any discrepancy, the Italian version prevails.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites send to your browser, where they are stored and then sent back to the same sites on your next visit. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels, device identifiers) do much the same job. Depending on their purpose, they fall into these groups:
- technical cookies, needed for the site to work or to provide a service you have explicitly asked for. They do not require consent (Article 122(1) of the Italian Privacy Code);
- analytics cookies, used to measure traffic. They are treated like technical cookies only if they are suitably anonymised and used solely by the site operator;
- profiling cookies, used to build a profile of the user and show content or advertising in line with their preferences. They require prior consent.
Depending on who sets them, there are first-party cookies (set by the site operator) and third-party cookies (set by someone else, through content embedded in the site).
2. First-party cookies
The Site does not set any first-party cookies. It is built with static pages and uses no analytics, advertising tools, contact forms, members' areas or tracking pixels. Fonts and images are hosted on the controller's own servers and involve no connections to third parties.
When you use the “My list” feature, the digital menu (www.lartigianodellapizza.com/menu/) saves the dishes you pick in your browser's local storage. This storage is strictly necessary to provide a feature you have asked for, stays on your device and is never sent to the controller or to third parties, so it does not require consent. You can delete it at any time by clearing the list or your browser's site data.
3. Third-party cookies and technologies
Some parts of the Site embed content provided by third parties. These providers act as independent controllers and may set their own cookies, over which the controller has no control. The information below is taken from the providers' published policies.

Links to the restaurant's social media profiles, to its Google Maps listing for reviews, to the directions service and to external websites (2wins.studio) are plain links: they set no cookies until you click them, at which point you are on the third party's site and subject to its rules.
4. How to manage cookies
4.1 On the Site
On your first visit the Site shows a banner with two equal choices: “Accept” and “No, thanks”. Until you accept, the Google map is not loaded (a placeholder with a button to load it appears instead, and clicking it counts as accepting) and reels open directly on Instagram's website, with no embedded player: no data is sent to Google or Meta. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage (under the key “adp-cookie-consent”, a technical item that does not require consent). In the same way, the Site uses the key “adp-social-toast” to remember that it has already shown you the invitation to follow us on social media, so it does not show it again for 14 days, and you can change it at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page.
4.2 In your browser
All browsers let you view, block or delete cookies, including third-party cookies only. Here are the instructions from the main browser makers:
Disabling third-party cookies will not stop you using the Site: it may only prevent the map and reels from being displayed.
4.3 With the providers

5. Updates
